Cori Elizabeth Sikich Memorial Foundation

Our daughter, Cori, died on June 4, 2002 at the age of 25 from complications of an eating disorder. It was our desire to do something in memory of our beautiful and caring daughter, to better the lives of others and perhaps find a way to help others avoid the grief we experienced. When something like this happens, you can either close yourself up, or open yourself up to the world and see what you can do. As a result we started the Cori Elizabeth Sikich Memorial Foundation. While the purpose of the Foundation is to help others, it has also helps us honor Cori"s life as a generous, compassionate young woman.
The Cori Sikich Memorial Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. All contributions are deductable with required 990 PF which can be provided by the organizations currently supported by the Foundation. These include Dreamcatchers' at the Cori Sikich Therapeutic Riding Center, a NAHRA premier accredited center, providing therapeutic riding for special needs children and adults including a Horses for Heroes Program for disabled veterans; Riverside Presbyterian Church youth ministry program; Riverside Parks and Recreation Department and the Oak Brook Parks and Recreation. Thank you

We would like to thank everyone who has given so generously both monetarily and with their time in support of the Foundation and these programs. Because of you we have been able to reach and improve the quality of life for so many.
Our gratitude is great and our lives are blessed by you.
